Newberry Opera House Gift Cards
Gift cards make the ideal present for any theater lover! You can conveniently check your gift card balance or purchase digital gift cards online by clicking the button below or by contacting the Box Office. If you prefer a physical gift card, please give us a call at 803-276-6264 to make your purchase.
Gift certificates can be purchased for tickets to events at the Newberry Opera House only. Gift cards can be mailed, e-mailed, or even sent by text as a gift to a third party. If lost, they will not be replaced. Gift cards have no cash value and are good for 5 years from the date of issuance.

Redeeming Gift Cards Online
When you receive a gift card from someone it will include an ID number. Just purchase your event tickets as you normally would. During the payment process, locate the Use Gift Card section on the checkout page and enter your Gift card ID number into the box, then click the “Check Balance” button. After your total reflects that the gift card has been applied, just click the “Submit” button at the bottom right of the page to complete your order.
Gift Card Terms And Conditions
Newberry Opera House Balance Redemption
Newberry Opera House Gift Cards are issued by Smart Transactions Systems. This card is redeemable by the bearer for merchandise or services at the Newberry Opera House and cannot be resold or used for any payment outside of the Newberry Opera House.
Risk of Loss
It may not be returned or redeemed for cash. Please treat this card like cash, we are not responsible if any Gift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed, or if your Newberry Opera House Gift Card is used without your permission.
Limitation
To the full extent permissible by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, with respect to gift cards or your Newberry Opera House balance, including without limitation, any express or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the full extent permissible by law, in the event, a gift card is non-functional, your sole remedy, and our sole liability will be the replacement of that gift card.
Expiration
This Gift Card is valid until 5 years from the date of issuance.
General Terms
We reserve the right to require additional verification of your identity before you are able to purchase a gift card. If purchasing a physical gift card, shipping is not included in your overall price. This gift card is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash in part or full. The terms and conditions of this gift card shall be amended at any time at the discretion of the Newberry Opera House and shall be binding on the customer.
A dormancy fee of $15 is levied when there is no activity in the previous 12-month period. The 12-month period will begin on February 1, 2022. The expiration of the gift card remains 5 years from the date of issuance or purchase or until depleted.
Disputes
Any dispute or claim relating in any way to Gift Cards or your Newberry Opera House Balance will be resolved by the dispute resolution terms in the Newberry Opera House Conditions of use. By using a Gift Card, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions, and not to use a Gift Card in any manner that is misleading, deceptive, unfair, or otherwise harmful The Newberry Opera House, its affiliates, or its patrons.
