Vicky Saye Henderson & Friends

Vicky Saye Henderson & Friends

This performance was originally about The Music of Billie Holiday, but due to performer scheduling has changed to a special performance by Vicky Saye Henderson and Friends.

Columbia vocalist and Jasper Arts Magazine’s 2013 Artist of the Year, Vicky Saye Henderson returns to the Newberry Opera House stage with musical friends to serve up an eclectic blend of live music. Growing up the daughter of a musician amid the diverse music scene of Athens, GA, she was heavily influenced by many genres. She is a vocal chameleon and an engaging storyteller through song, who consistently delivers a wide array of music, from country to bluegrass, classic rock to blues, and musical theatre to jazz standards.

Vicky brings with her a handful of her favorite accomplished musicians, combining forces for what promises to be an uplifting, laid-back afternoon for music lovers of all ages. Come and join us for the journey!
