Trey McLaughlin & The Sounds of Zamar was organized in 2009 in Augusta, GA. They released their first project, “Limitless” in November 2012. Since then, their soul-stirring music has been a huge success nationally and internationally. “The Zamar Experience” features music that everyone can enjoy as their songs provide a fresh perspective on covers of Gospel music that is entirely authentic. Their take on music has sent shockwaves across the music industry, landing them performances alongside well-known artists such as William McDowell, Kierra “Kiki” Sheard, Richard Smallwood, Earnest Pugh, James Fortune, and even a feature on VaShawn Mitchell’s GRAMMY ® nominated album “Triumphant.”
Their success and talent can be measured by the large crowds they bring in, no matter where they are performing. Recently they completed a 15-city tour across the United States, performing in New York, Chicago, and Austin. They also performed in Paris, France; Krakow, Poland; Menorca, Spain and Rajadell, Spain. Also, to mention performances at the Mondavi Center at UC Davis, Zellerbach Hall at UC Berkeley, and the Celebrity Series in Boston.
