His blind audition on “The Voice” featuring Luke Combs’s “When It Rains It Pours” has been named as one of the best blind auditions in the history of the show. He released his debut project “Love Out of Time.”

Born to Christian missionaries, Jake spent 11 years in the Dominican Republic where he learned to play the guitar. Jake Hoot has been featured on “TODAY” with Hoda & Jenna and is in broadcast rotation on CMT. The former contestant and coach Kelly Clarkson recently reunited to perform their duet “I Would’ve Loved You” on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” and Season 20 of “The Voice.” “Better Off Without You,” his winning song on “The Voice” was written by Hoot himself and became his first single and topping the Top 50 on the Country chart. He made his Grand Ole Opry debut on February 4 of 2020.
