THE ROYAL NATIONAL BALLET’s distinctive approach to synthesizing music and choreographic elements of ancient, traditional, and modern dance on a grand theatrical scale distinguishes this company from most others. Each dance is accompanied by a contemporary score and several hundred elaborate costumes, and each is representative of the diverse regions from which they originate in Georgia, located at the intersection of Europe and Asia, and home to the Caucasus Mountain villages and the Black Sea beaches.
Georgia gained its independence from the former Soviet Union in 1991 and The Royal National Ballet was established in 2008. They have performed in Germany, France, Holland, the Russian Federation, and New Zealand.
