The Opera House and the Foundation are dedicated to ensuring a safe environment for all who pass through our doors. The staff has worked hard at staying open, rescheduling, and sharing information for over 60 rescheduled/canceled performances and rerouting of tours. As a nonprofit performing arts center that relies on revenue from ticket sales, this greatly affects the Foundation’s finances.
*As things are changing rapidly, please visit this page often for up-to-date information as artists postpone, change their dates, or cancel their tours.*The Opera House is continuing to monitor, evaluate, and update procedures according to the guidelines of the CDC, local, and state authority. As the Governor has removed the mask and reduced seating requirements, the Newberry Opera House is open at full capacity for the 21-22 season. Please know that masks are recommended at this time. As a 501c3, any donation to the Newberry Opera House would be tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
