The Newberry Opera House is your home and a beacon for the Midlands.

These are challenging times for everyone in our community. Although this crisis has brought many challenges, we are working to lessen the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic by continuing to forge a path toward the future.

The Newberry Opera House has postponed or canceled many performances during this time. This disruption to our season has affected our Newberry Arts for All initiatives that bring 300 elementary school children to the theatre every month, our free community concert that was scheduled May 2, and countless other memories yet to be made. This intermission poses a significant impact on our entire Opera House organization. We WILL get through this TOGETHER as we make every effort to minimize the negative impact this has had on our family.

Please consider contributing to the Newberry Opera House Performing Arts Center. With your support, we will get through this difficult time and deliver our mission that The Opera House is here to enhance the economic and cultural development of Newberry County and the Midlands through the window of the arts in concert with arts for all.

We can’t wait to raise the curtain and welcome you home!
